The 'I Capfico de l'Any' (The First Dip of the Year) at the Port of Palma is more than just a swim; it is a vibrant, symbolic tradition that brings the local community together to celebrate the arrival of January 1st. Set against the stunning backdrop of Palma de Mallorca, this charity event invites swimmers of all levels to brave the crisp waters of the Balearic Sea, with proceeds supporting the local NGO 'SOS MAMAS'.

Palma de Mallorca, the crown jewel of the Balearics, offers a unique historical and cultural setting for this New Year’s challenge. The race is designed to be inclusive and festive, welcoming both seasoned open water athletes and casual swimmers who want to start their year with a refreshing, healthy tradition. Whether you choose the 200m or 400m distance, the event provides a professional, well-organized environment, ensuring safety while maintaining a relaxed, celebratory atmosphere.
